About RICOS Lightning

RICOS Lightning is an application that predicts simulation results with high speed and accuracy using a unique machine learning algorithm that incorporates the characteristics of physical phenomena. By replacing time-consuming simulation calculations with RICOS Lightning predictions, it is possible to significantly reduce calculation time.

For example, RICOS Lightning has successfully predicted the aerodynamic performance of an automobile in 10 to 20 minutes, whereas conventional simulations required half a day to several days to calculate the results.

In combination with another product, “RICOS Generative CAE,” the generation and modification of geometry in basic design can also be automated and accelerated along with the speed-up of performance evaluation by simulation.
