About DAC 2025

The Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2025, held from June 22 to 25 at Moscone West in San Francisco, is globally recognized as "The Global Event for Chips to Systems."
This international conference brings together professionals from across the world in the fields of electronic design and the semiconductor industry.

For decades, DAC has served as a premier platform for presenting cutting-edge research and technologies in design automation. The event fosters engagement among a wide range of participants — from startups and leading enterprises to universities and research institutions — all of whom are driving innovation in the industry.

This year, RICOS was honored to participate as an I Love DAC sponsor, marking our very first appearance at the event.

RICOS Booth Highlights and On-Site Activities

As part of the “I Love DAC” program, we showcased our AI-powered solutions, including RICOS Lightning, a high-speed predictive simulation tool, and RICOS Generative CAE, which enables autonomous design automation.

These solutions are designed to significantly reduce engineering workloads in traditional CAE workflows while empowering engineers to explore innovative product designs more efficiently.
Our booth attracted strong interest, particularly for our unique approach of applying AI in the mechanical design domain. Many visitors engaged in insightful technical discussions throughout the event.

Thanks to our participation in the “Passport to Prize” stamp rally, our booth received a high volume of foot traffic.
We had the opportunity to connect directly with a diverse range of visitors, including students, early-career researchers, corporate design and development teams, investors, and professionals from the EDA industry. These interactions reaffirmed the growing global interest in RICOS technologies.

During the exhibition, we also welcomed visitors from leading companies in the semiconductor, electronics, and telecommunications industries, as well as from engineering service firms. These conversations led to productive exchanges of technical perspectives and potential collaboration ideas.

Moreover, we received many inquiries regarding our U.S. presence and recruitment activities — a clear sign that RICOS is gaining recognition in the global market.

While overall visitor numbers tapered slightly on the final day, we continued to have meaningful discussions with attendees demonstrating strong technical interest and relevant business needs.
Notably, we established new connections with representatives from world-leading companies such as Intel, Apple, Sony, Huawei, Qualcomm, and Ericsson — a significant outcome that will guide our continued outreach efforts. We will engage these contacts with tailored follow-ups to explore solution proposals that meet their specific requirements.

Our first appearance at DAC provided us with valuable insights and a clearer perspective on our positioning within the global CAE market.
Building on this experience, we aim to enhance our future international exhibition strategies and more effectively communicate the value of our solutions worldwide.

RICOS remains committed to advancing innovation in CAE and design engineering through AI, while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with customers in Japan and around the world.
